Sadie Hammond is the fourth generation and Director of Organizational Development of Hammond Lumber Company, which has 22 locations across Maine and New Hampshire and over 900 employees. In her role, she is responsible for strategic planning in collaboration with the senior leadership team and facilitates employee engagement and satisfaction initiatives. She is also involved in various areas of the business including special projects, communications, marketing, and event planning.
Prior to joining Hammond Lumber Company in 2019, Sadie graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, majoring in Management with a collateral in Accounting and Finance. During her time at the University of Tennessee, she was on the Women’s Tennis team where she was team captain, received numerous SEC honors and accolades, and achieved NCAA All-American status. Sadie currently serves on the board of directors for the Retail Lumber Dealers Association of Maine, the North American Young Lumber Employees board, AGC Maine’s Emerging Contractors Group committee, and the LMC 21st Century Leaders committee. She is also pursuing an MBA degree from the University of Tennessee.
